So all the citiesH5892 which ye shall giveH5414 to the LevitesH3881 shall be fortyH705 and eightH8083 cities:H5892 them shall ye give with their suburbs.H4054

The revengerH1350 of bloodH1818 himself shall slayH4191 the murderer:H7523 when he meetethH6293 him, heH1931 shall slayH4191 him.

But if he thrustH1920 him of hatred,H8135 or hurlH7993 at him by laying of wait,H6660 that he die;H4191
35:21
Or in enmityH342 smiteH5221 him with his hand,H3027 that he die:H4191 he that smoteH5221 him shall surelyH4191 be put to death;H4191 for he is a murderer:H7523 the revengerH1350 of bloodH1818 shall slayH4191 the murderer,H7523 when he meetethH6293 him.
35:22
But if he thrustH1920 him suddenlyH6621 withoutH3808 enmity,H342 or have castH7993 upon him any thingH3627 without laying of wait,H6660

Or with any stone,H68 wherewith a man may die,H4191 seeingH7200 him not,H3808 and castH5307 it upon him, that he die,H4191 and was not his enemy,H341 neither soughtH1245 his harm:H7451

Then the congregationH5712 shall judgeH8199 between the slayerH5221 and the revengerH1350 of bloodH1818 according to these judgments:H4941

And the congregationH5712 shall deliverH5337 the slayerH7523 out of the handH3027 of the revengerH1350 of blood,H1818 and the congregationH5712 shall restoreH7725 him to the cityH5892 of his refuge,H4733 whither he was fled:H5127 and he shall abideH3427 in it unto the deathH4194 of the highH1419 priest,H3548 which was anointedH4886 with the holyH6944 oil.H8081

But if the slayerH7523 shall at any timeH3318 comeH3318 without the borderH1366 of the cityH5892 of his refuge,H4733 whither he was fled;H5127
