Come upH5927 unto me, and helpH5826 me, that we may smiteH5221 Gibeon:H1391 for it hath made peaceH7999 with JoshuaH3091 and with the childrenH1121 of Israel.H3478

Therefore the fiveH2568 kingsH4428 of the Amorites,H567 the kingH4428 of Jerusalem,H3389 the kingH4428 of Hebron,H2275 the kingH4428 of Jarmuth,H3412 the kingH4428 of Lachish,H3923 the kingH4428 of Eglon,H5700 gathered themselves together,H622 and went up,H5927 they and all their hosts,H4264 and encampedH2583 before Gibeon,H1391 and made warH3898 against it.

And the menH582 of GibeonH1391 sentH7971 unto JoshuaH3091 to the campH4264 to Gilgal,H1537 saying,H559 SlackH7503 not thy handH3027 from thy servants;H5650 come upH5927 to us quickly,H4120 and saveH3467 us, and helpH5826 us: for all the kingsH4428 of the AmoritesH567 that dwellH3427 in the mountainsH2022 are gathered togetherH6908 against us.

So JoshuaH3091 ascendedH5927 from Gilgal,H1537 he, and all the peopleH5971 of warH4421 with him, and all the mightyH1368 men of valour.H2428

And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto Joshua,H3091 FearH3372 them not: for I have deliveredH5414 them into thine hand;H3027 there shall not a manH376 of them standH5975 beforeH6440 thee.

And the sunH8121 stood still,H1826 and the moonH3394 stayed,H5975 until the peopleH1471 had avengedH5358 themselves upon their enemies.H341 Is not thisH1931 writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of Jasher?H3477 So the sunH8121 stood stillH5975 in the midstH2677 of heaven,H8064 and hastedH213 not to go downH935 about a wholeH8549 day.H3117

And there was no dayH3117 like that beforeH6440 it or afterH310 it, that the LORDH3068 hearkenedH8085 unto the voiceH6963 of a man:H376 for the LORDH3068 foughtH3898 for Israel.H3478

And JoshuaH3091 returned,H7725 and all IsraelH3478 with him, unto the campH4264 to Gilgal.H1537

And it came to pass, when JoshuaH3091 and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 had made an endH3615 of slayingH5221 them with a veryH3966 greatH1419 slaughter,H4347 till they were consumed,H8552 that the restH8300 which remainedH8277 of them enteredH935 into fencedH4013 cities.H5892

And all the peopleH5971 returnedH7725 to the campH4264 to JoshuaH3091 at MakkedahH4719 in peace:H7965 none movedH2782 his tongueH3956 against anyH376 of the childrenH1121 of Israel.H3478

Then saidH559 Joshua,H3091 OpenH6605 the mouthH6310 of the cave,H4631 and bring outH3318 those fiveH2568 kingsH4428 unto me out of the cave.H4631

And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 unto them, FearH3372 not, nor be dismayed,H2865 be strongH2388 and of good courage:H553 for thus shall the LORDH3068 doH6213 to all your enemiesH341 against whom ye fight.H3898

And the LORDH3068 deliveredH5414 LachishH3923 into the handH3027 of Israel,H3478 which tookH3920 it on the secondH8145 day,H3117 and smoteH5221 it with the edgeH6310 of the sword,H2719 and all the soulsH5315 that were therein, according to all that he had doneH6213 to Libnah.H3841

And JoshuaH3091 went upH5927 from Eglon,H5700 and all IsraelH3478 with him, unto Hebron;H2275 and they foughtH3898 against it:

And they tookH3920 it, and smoteH5221 it with the edgeH6310 of the sword,H2719 and the kingH4428 thereof, and all the citiesH5892 thereof, and all the soulsH5315 that were therein; he leftH7604 none remaining,H8300 according to all that he had doneH6213 to Eglon;H5700 but destroyedH2763 it utterly, and all the soulsH5315 that were therein.

And JoshuaH3091 returned,H7725 and all IsraelH3478 with him, to Debir;H1688 and foughtH3898 against it:

And he tookH3920 it, and the kingH4428 thereof, and all the citiesH5892 thereof; and they smoteH5221 them with the edgeH6310 of the sword,H2719 and utterly destroyedH2763 all the soulsH5315 that were therein; he leftH7604 none remaining:H8300 as he had doneH6213 to Hebron,H2275 so he didH6213 to Debir,H1688 and to the kingH4428 thereof; as he had doneH6213 also to Libnah,H3841 and to her king.H4428

So JoshuaH3091 smoteH5221 all the countryH776 of the hills,H2022 and of the south,H5045 and of the vale,H8219 and of the springs,H794 and all their kings:H4428 he leftH7604 none remaining,H8300 but utterly destroyedH2763 all that breathed,H5397 as the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 commanded.H6680

And JoshuaH3091 smoteH5221 them from KadeshbarneaH6947 even unto Gaza,H5804 and all the countryH776 of Goshen,H1657 even unto Gibeon.H1391

And all these kingsH4428 and their landH776 did JoshuaH3091 takeH3920 at oneH259 time,H6471 because the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 foughtH3898 for Israel.H3478
