Also he builtH1129 altarsH4196 in the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 whereof the LORDH3068 had said,H559 In JerusalemH3389 shall my nameH8034 be for ever.H5769

And he took awayH5493 the strangeH5236 gods,H430 and the idolH5566 out of the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 and all the altarsH4196 that he had builtH1129 in the mountH2022 of the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 and in Jerusalem,H3389 and castH7993 them outH2351 of the city.H5892

And he repairedH1129 the altarH4196 of the LORD,H3068 and sacrificedH2076 thereon peaceH8002 offeringsH2077 and thank offerings,H8426 and commandedH559 JudahH3063 to serveH5647 the LORDH3068 GodH430 of Israel.H3478

NeverthelessH61 the peopleH5971 did sacrificeH2076 still in the high places,H1116 yet unto the LORDH3068 their GodH430 only.

Now the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of Manasseh,H4519 and his prayerH8605 unto his God,H430 and the wordsH1697 of the seersH2374 that spakeH1696 to him in the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068 GodH430 of Israel,H3478 behold, they are written in the bookH1697 of the kingsH4428 of Israel.H3478

His prayerH8605 also, and how God was intreatedH6279 of him, and all his sin,H2403 and his trespass,H4604 and the placesH4725 wherein he builtH1129 high places,H1116 and set upH5975 grovesH842 and graven images,H6456 beforeH6440 he was humbled:H3665 behold, they are writtenH3789 among the sayingsH1697 of the seersH2374, H2335.

And humbledH3665 not himself beforeH6440 the LORD,H3068 as ManassehH4519 his fatherH1 had humbledH3665 himself; but AmonH526 trespassedH819 more and more.H7235

And his servantsH5650 conspiredH7194 against him, and slewH4191 him in his own house.H1004

But the peopleH5971 of the landH776 slewH5221 all them that had conspiredH7194 against kingH4428 Amon;H526 and the peopleH5971 of the landH776 madeH4427 JosiahH2977 his sonH1121 kingH4427 in his stead.
