Księga Psalmów 44:20
Tytuł oryginalnyPsalm
We have heardH8085 with our ears,H241 O God,H430 our fathersH1 have toldH5608 us, what workH6467 thou didstH6466 in their days,H3117 in the timesH3117 of old.H6924
How thou didst drive outH3423 the heathenH1471 with thy hand,H3027 and plantedstH5193 them; how thou didst afflictH7489 the people,H3816 and cast them out.H7971
For they gotH3423 not the landH776 in possessionH3423 by their own sword,H2719 neither did their own armH2220 saveH3467 them: but thy right hand,H3225 and thine arm,H2220 and the lightH216 of thy countenance,H6440 because thou hadst a favourH7521 unto them.
Through thee will we push downH5055 our enemies:H6862 through thy nameH8034 will we tread them underH947 that rise upH6965 against us.
But thou hast savedH3467 us from our enemies,H6862 and hast put them to shameH954 that hatedH8130 us.
In GodH430 we boastH1984 all the dayH3117 long, and praiseH3034 thy nameH8034 for ever.H5769 Selah.H5542
ButH637 thou hast cast off,H2186 and put us to shame;H3637 and goest not forthH3318 with our armies.H6635
Thou makest us to turnH7725 backH268 from the enemy:H6862 and they which hateH8130 us spoilH8154 for themselves.
Thou hast givenH5414 us like sheepH6629 appointed for meat;H3978 and hast scatteredH2219 us among the heathen.H1471
Thou sellestH4376 thy peopleH5971 for nought,H1952 and dost not increaseH7235 thy wealth by their price.H4242
Thou makestH7760 us a reproachH2781 to our neighbours,H7934 a scornH3933 and a derisionH7047 to them that are round aboutH5439 us.
Thou makestH7760 us a bywordH4912 among the heathen,H1471 a shakingH4493 of the headH7218 among the people.H3816
My confusionH3639 is continuallyH3117 before me, and the shameH1322 of my faceH6440 hath coveredH3680 me,
For the voiceH6963 of him that reproachethH2778 and blasphemeth;H1442 by reasonH6440 of the enemyH341 and avenger.H5358
All this is comeH935 upon us; yet have we not forgottenH7911 thee, neither have we dealt falselyH8266 in thy covenant.H1285
Our heartH3820 is not turnedH5472 back,H268 neither have our stepsH838 declinedH5186 from thy way;H734
Though thou hast sore brokenH1794 us in the placeH4725 of dragons,H8577 and coveredH3680 us with the shadow of death.H6757
If we have forgottenH7911 the nameH8034 of our God,H430 or stretched outH6566 our handsH3709 to a strangeH2114 god;H410
Shall not GodH430 search this out?H2713 for he knowethH3045 the secretsH8587 of the heart.H3820
Yea, for thy sake are we killedH2026 all the dayH3117 long; we are countedH2803 as sheepH6629 for the slaughter.H2878
Awake,H5782 why sleepestH3462 thou, O Lord?H136 arise,H6974 cast us not offH2186 for ever.H5331
Wherefore hidestH5641 thou thy face,H6440 and forgettestH7911 our afflictionH6040 and our oppression?H3906
For our soulH5315 is bowed downH7743 to the dust:H6083 our bellyH990 cleavethH1692 unto the earth.H776
