Księga Jeremiasza 13:23
Tytuł oryginalnyJeremiah
Thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 unto me, GoH1980 and getH7069 thee a linenH6593 girdle,H232 and putH7760 it upon thy loins,H4975 and putH935 it not in water.H4325
So I gotH7069 a girdleH232 according to the wordH1697 of the LORD,H3068 and putH7760 it on my loins.H4975
TakeH3947 the girdleH232 that thou hast got,H7069 which is upon thy loins,H4975 and arise,H6965 goH3212 to Euphrates,H6578 and hideH2934 it there in a holeH5357 of the rock.H5553
And it came to pass afterH7093 manyH7227 days,H3117 that the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto me, Arise,H6965 goH3212 to Euphrates,H6578 and takeH3947 the girdleH232 from thence, which I commandedH6680 thee to hideH2934 there.
Then I wentH3212 to Euphrates,H6578 and digged,H2658 and tookH3947 the girdleH232 from the placeH4725 where I had hidH2934 it: and, behold, the girdleH232 was marred,H7843 it was profitableH6743 for nothing.
Thus saithH559 the LORD,H3068 After this manner will I marH7843 the prideH1347 of Judah,H3063 and the greatH7227 prideH1347 of Jerusalem.H3389
This evilH7451 people,H5971 which refuseH3987 to hearH8085 my words,H1697 which walkH1980 in the imaginationH8307 of their heart,H3820 and walkH3212 afterH310 otherH312 gods,H430 to serveH5647 them, and to worshipH7812 them, shall even be as this girdle,H232 which is goodH6743 for nothing.
For as the girdleH232 cleavethH1692 to the loinsH4975 of a man,H376 so have I caused to cleaveH1692 unto me the whole houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 and the whole houseH1004 of Judah,H3063 saithH5002 the LORD;H3068 that they might be unto me for a people,H5971 and for a name,H8034 and for a praise,H8416 and for a glory:H8597 but they would not hear.H8085
Therefore thou shalt speakH559 unto them this word;H1697 Thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 GodH430 of Israel,H3478 Every bottleH5035 shall be filledH4390 with wine:H3196 and they shall sayH559 unto thee, Do we not certainlyH3045 knowH3045 that every bottleH5035 shall be filledH4390 with wine?H3196
Then shalt thou sayH559 unto them, Thus saithH559 the LORD,H3068 Behold, I will fillH4390 all the inhabitantsH3427 of this land,H776 even the kingsH4428 that sitH3427 upon David'sH1732 throne,H3678 and the priests,H3548 and the prophets,H5030 and all the inhabitantsH3427 of Jerusalem,H3389 with drunkenness.H7943
And I will dashH5310 them oneH376 against another,H251 even the fathersH1 and the sonsH1121 together,H3162 saithH5002 the LORD:H3068 I will not pity,H2550 nor spare,H2347 nor have mercy,H7355 but destroyH7843 them.
GiveH5414 gloryH3519 to the LORDH3068 your God,H430 before he cause darkness,H2821 and before your feetH7272 stumbleH5062 upon the darkH5399 mountains,H2022 and, while ye lookH6960 for light,H216 he turnH7760 it into the shadow of death,H6757 and makeH7896 it gross darkness.H6205
But if ye will not hearH8085 it, my soulH5315 shall weepH1058 in secret placesH4565 forH6440 your pride;H1466 and mine eyeH5869 shall weepH1830 sore,H1830 and run downH3381 with tears,H1832 because the LORD'SH3068 flockH5739 is carried away captive.H7617
SayH559 unto the kingH4428 and to the queen,H1377 HumbleH8213 yourselves, sit down:H3427 for your principalitiesH4761 shall come down,H3381 even the crownH5850 of your glory.H8597
The citiesH5892 of the southH5045 shall be shut up,H5462 and none shall openH6605 them: JudahH3063 shall be carried away captiveH1540 all of it, it shall be whollyH7965 carried away captive.H1540
Lift upH5375 your eyes,H5869 and beholdH7200 them that comeH935 from the north:H6828 where is the flockH5739 that was givenH5414 thee, thy beautifulH8597 flock?H6629
What wilt thou sayH559 when he shall punishH6485 thee? for thou hast taughtH3925 them to be captains,H441 and as chiefH7218 over thee: shall not sorrowsH2256 takeH270 thee, as a womanH802 in travail?H3205
And if thou sayH559 in thine heart,H3824 Wherefore comeH7122 these things upon me? For the greatnessH7230 of thine iniquityH5771 are thy skirtsH7757 discovered,H1540 and thy heelsH6119 made bare.H2554
Can the EthiopianH3569 changeH2015 his skin,H5785 or the leopardH5246 his spots?H2272 then mayH3201 ye also do good,H3190 that are accustomedH3928 to do evil.H7489
Therefore will I scatterH6327 them as the stubbleH7179 that passeth awayH5674 by the windH7307 of the wilderness.H4057
This is thy lot,H1486 the portionH4490 of thy measuresH4055 from me, saithH5002 the LORD;H3068 because thou hast forgottenH7911 me, and trustedH982 in falsehood.H8267
Therefore will I discoverH2834 thy skirtsH7757 upon thy face,H6440 that thy shameH7036 may appear.H7200
I have seenH7200 thine adulteries,H5004 and thy neighings,H4684 the lewdnessH2154 of thy whoredom,H2184 and thine abominationsH8251 on the hillsH1389 in the fields.H7704 WoeH188 unto thee, O Jerusalem!H3389 wilt thou not be made clean?H2891 when shall it onceH310 be?H5750
