Thus saithH559 the LORD;H3068 ExecuteH6213 ye judgmentH4941 and righteousness,H6666 and deliverH5337 the spoiledH1497 out of the handH3027 of the oppressor:H6216 and do no wrong,H3238 do no violenceH2554 to the stranger,H1616 the fatherless,H3490 nor the widow,H490 neither shedH8210 innocentH5355 bloodH1818 in this place.H4725

For if ye doH6213 this thingH1697 indeed,H6213 then shall there enter inH935 by the gatesH8179 of this houseH1004 kingsH4428 sittingH3427 upon the throneH3678 of David,H1732 ridingH7392 in chariotsH7393 and on horses,H5483 he, and his servants,H5650 and his people.H5971

But if ye will not hearH8085 these words,H1697 I swearH7650 by myself, saithH5002 the LORD,H3068 that this houseH1004 shall become a desolation.H2723

For thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 unto the king'sH4428 houseH1004 of Judah;H3063 Thou art GileadH1568 unto me, and the headH7218 of Lebanon:H3844 yet surely I will makeH7896 thee a wilderness,H4057 and citiesH5892 which are not inhabited.H3427

And I will prepareH6942 destroyersH7843 against thee, every oneH376 with his weapons:H3627 and they shall cut downH3772 thy choiceH4005 cedars,H730 and castH5307 them into the fire.H784

And manyH7227 nationsH1471 shall passH5674 by this city,H5892 and they shall sayH559 every manH376 to his neighbour,H7453 Wherefore hath the LORDH3068 doneH6213 thus unto this greatH1419 city?H5892

Then they shall answer,H559 Because they have forsakenH5800 the covenantH1285 of the LORDH3068 their God,H430 and worshippedH7812 otherH312 gods,H430 and servedH5647 them.

WeepH1058 ye not for the dead,H4191 neither bemoanH5110 him: but weepH1058 soreH1058 for him that goeth away:H1980 for he shall returnH7725 no more, nor seeH7200 his nativeH4138 country.H776

For thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 touchingH413 ShallumH7967 the sonH1121 of JosiahH2977 kingH4428 of Judah,H3063 which reignedH4427 instead of JosiahH2977 his father,H1 which went forthH3318 out of this place;H4725 He shall not returnH7725 thither any more:

But he shall dieH4191 in the placeH4725 whither they have led him captive,H1540 and shall seeH7200 this landH776 no more.

WoeH1945 unto him that buildethH1129 his houseH1004 byH3808 unrighteousness,H6664 and his chambersH5944 by wrong;H4941 that useth his neighbour'sH7453 serviceH5647 without wages,H2600 and givethH5414 him not for his work;H6467

Shalt thou reign,H4427 because thou closestH8474 thyself in cedar?H730 did not thy fatherH1 eatH398 and drink,H8354 and doH6213 judgmentH4941 and justice,H6666 and then it was wellH2896 with him?

He judgedH1777 the causeH1779 of the poorH6041 and needy;H34 then it was wellH2896 with him: was not this to knowH1847 me? saithH5002 the LORD.H3068

But thine eyesH5869 and thine heartH3820 are not but for thy covetousness,H1215 and for to shedH8210 innocentH5355 blood,H1818 and for oppression,H6233 and for violence,H4835 to doH6213 it.

Therefore thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 concerning JehoiakimH3079 the sonH1121 of JosiahH2977 kingH4428 of Judah;H3063 They shall not lamentH5594 for him, saying, AhH1945 my brother!H251 or, AhH1945 sister!H269 they shall not lamentH5594 for him, saying, AhH1945 lord!H113 or, AhH1945 his glory!H1935

He shall be buriedH6912 with the burialH6900 of an ass,H2543 drawnH5498 and cast forthH7993 beyondH1973 the gatesH8179 of Jerusalem.H3389

And I will cast thee out,H2904 and thy motherH517 that bareH3205 thee, into anotherH312 country,H776 where ye were not born;H3205 and there shall ye die.H4191
