καιG2532 And είπονG2036 said οιG3588 παίδες αυτούG3816 his servants αυτώG1473 to him, ζητησάτωσανG2212 Let them seek τωG3588 κυρίω ημώνG2962 for our master τωG3588 the βασιλείG935 king νεάνιδα a young παρθένονG3933 virgin, καιG2532 and παραστήσεταιG3936 she shall stand beside τωG3588 the βασιλείG935 king, καιG2532 and έσται will be αυτόν θάλπουσαG1473 warming him, καιG2532 and κατακείσεταιG2621 she shall recline ενG1722 in τωG3588 κόλπω αυτούG2859 his bosom, καιG2532 and θερμανθήσεταιG2328 shall be heated οG3588 κυριός ημώνG2962 our master οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king.

καιG2532 And εζήτησανG2212 they sought νεάνιδα young woman καλήνG2570 a goodly εκG1537 from παντόςG3956 every ορίουG3725 border Ισραήλ of Israel. καιG2532 And εύρονG2147 they found τηνG3588 Αβισάγ Abishag τηνG3588 the Σουναμίτιν Shunammite, καιG2532 and ήνεγκανG5342 they brought αυτήνG1473 her προςG4314 to τονG3588 the βασιλέαG935 king.

καιG2532 And ηG3588 the νεάνις young woman καλήG2570 was goodly τωG3588 to the είδειG1491 sight, σφόδραG4970 exceedingly, καιG2532 and ην was θάλπουσαG2282 warming τονG3588 the βασιλέαG935 king. καιG2532 And ελειτούργειG3008 she ministered αυτώG1473 to him, καιG2532 and οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king ουκG3756 did not έγνωG1097 know αυτήνG1473 her.

καιG2532 And Αδωνίας Adonijah υιόςG5207 son Αγγίθ of Haggith επήρετοG1869 lifted up, λέγωνG3004 saying, εγώG1473 I βασιλεύσωG936 shall reign. καιG2532 And εποίησενG4160 he appointed αυτώG1473 to himself άρματαG716 chariots, καιG2532 and ιππείςG2460 horsemen, καιG2532 and πεντήκονταG4004 fifty άνδραςG435 men παρατρέχοντας running έμπροσθενG1715 in front of αυτούG1473 him.

καιG2532 And ουκG3756 did not επιτίμησενG2008 make a reproach αυτώG1473 to him οG3588 πατήρ αυτούG3962 his father πώποτεG4455 at any time, ειπώνG2036 saying, τιG5100 Why is it ότιG3754 that συG1473 have you πεποίηκαςG4160 done ουτωςG3779 thus? καιG2532 And αυτόςG1473 he καλόςG2570 was good τηG3588 όψειG3799 in appearance, σφόδραG4970 exceedingly. καιG2532 And αυτόνG1473 he έτεκενG5088 was born οπίσωG3694 after Αβεσαλώμ Absalom.

καιG2532 And ήσαν were οιG3588 λόγοι αυτούG3056 his communications μετάG3326 with Ιωάβ Joab τουG3588 the υιόυG5207 son Σαρουϊα of Zeruiah, καιG2532 and μετάG3326 with Αβιάθαρ Abiathar τουG3588 the ιερέωςG2409 priest. καιG2532 And εβοήθουνG997 they helped οπίσωG3694 following after Αδωνίου Adonijah.

καιG2532 And Σαδώκ Zadok οG3588 the ιερεύςG2409 priest, καιG2532 and Βανέας Benaiah υιόςG5207 son Ιωδαέ of Jehoiada, καιG2532 and Ναθάν Nathan οG3588 the προφήτηςG4396 prophet, καιG2532 and Σεμεϊ Shimei, καιG2532 and Ρησί Rei, καιG2532 and οιG3588 the ones όντες being δυνατοίG1415 mighty τωG3588 to Δαυίδ David ουκ ήσανG3756 were not μετάG3326 with Αδωνίου Adonijah.

καιG2532 And εθυσίασεν Αδωνίας Adonijah sacrificed πρόβαταG4263 sheep καιG2532 and βόαςG994 calves καιG2532 and άρναςG704 lambs παράG3844 by τονG3588 the λίθονG3037 stone τονG3588 Ζωελέθ Zoheleth, τονG3588 the one εχόμενονG2192 being next to τηςG3588 the πηγήςG4077 spring τουG3588 Ρωγήλ of En-rogel. καιG2532 And εκάλεσεG2564 he called πάνταςG3956 all τουςG3588 αδελφούς αυτούG80 his brethren τουςG3588 of the υιούςG5207 sons τουG3588 of the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 and πάνταςG3956 all τουςG3588 the άνδραςG435 men Ιούδα of Judah, τουςG3588 the παίδαςG3816 servants τουG3588 of the βασιλέωςG935 king.

καιG2532 But Ναθάν Nathan τονG3588 the προφήτηνG4396 prophet, καιG2532 and τονG3588 Βανέαν Benaiah, καιG2532 and τουςG3588 the δυνατούςG1415 mighty ones, καιG2532 and τονG3588 Σολομώντα Solomon αδελφόν αυτούG80 his brother ουκG3756 he did not εκάλεσεG2564 call.

καιG2532 And είπε ΝαθάνG2036 Nathan said προςG4314 to Βηρσαβεαί Bath-sheba, μητέραG3384 mother Σολομώντος of Solomon, λέγωνG3004 saying, ουκG3756 Did you not ήκουσαςG191 hear ότιG3754 that βεβασίλευκενG936 reigns Αδωνίας Adonijah υιόςG5207 son Αγγίθ of Haggith, καιG2532 and οG3588 κυριός ημώνG2962 our master Δαυίδ David ουκG3756 does not έγνωG1097 know.

καιG2532 And νυνG3568 now, δεύροG1204 come, συμβουλεύσωG4823 I will advise σοιG1473 you συμβουλίαν with advice, όπωςG3704 so that σώσηςG4982 you should preserve τηνG3588 ψυχήν σουG5590 your life, καιG2532 and τηνG3588 the ψυχήνG5590 life Σολομώντος of Solomon τουG3588 υιού σουG5207 your son.

δεύροG1204 Come, είσελθεG1525 enter προςG4314 unto τονG3588 βασιλέαG935 king Δαυίδ David. καιG2532 And ερείςG2046 you shall say προςG4314 to αυτόνG1473 him, ουχί συG3780 Have you not, κύριέ μουG2962 O my master, βασιλεύG935 O king, ώμοσαςG3660 sworn by an oath τηG3588 to δούλη σουG1399 your maidservant, λέγωνG3004 saying ότιG3754 that, Σολομών Solomon οG3588 υιός σουG5207 your son, βασιλεύσειG936 he shall reign μετ΄G3326 after εμέG1473 me, καιG2532 and αυτόςG1473 he καθήσεταιG2523 shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 θρόνου μουG2362 my throne. καιG2532 Then τιG5100 why is it ότιG3754 that βεβασίλευκεν ΑδωνίαςG936 Adonijah reigns?

καιG2532 And ιδούG2400 behold, έτιG2089 while σουG1473 you λαλούσηςG2980 are speaking εκείG1563 there μετάG3326 with τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 that εγώG1473 I εισελεύσομαιG1525 shall enter μετάG3326 after σουG1473 you, καιG2532 and πληρώσωG4137 I will fulfill τουςG3588 λόγους σουG3056 your words.

καιG2532 And εισήλθε ΒηρσαβεαίG1525 Bath-sheba entered προςG4314 to τονG3588 the βασιλέαG935 king ειςG1519 in τοG3588 the ταμείονG5009 inner chamber. καιG2532 And οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king πρεσβύτηςG4246 was an old man, σφόδραG4970 exceedingly. καιG2532 And Αβισάγ Abishag ηG3588 the Σουναμίτις Shunamite ην was λειτούργουσαG3008 ministering τωG3588 to the βασιλείG935 king.

καιG2532 And έκυψε ΒηρσαβεαίG2955 Bath-sheba bowed, καιG2532 and προσεκύνησεG4352 did obeisance τωG3588 to the βασιλείG935 king. καιG2532 And είπενG2036 said οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king, τιG5100 What έστι is it σοιG1473 to you?

καιG2532 And είπεG2036 she said, κύριέ μουG2962 O my master, βασιλεύG935 O king, συG1473 you ώμοσαςG3660 swore by an oath ενG1722 to κυρίωG2962 the lord τωG3588 θεώ σουG2316 your God τηG3588 to δούλη σουG1399 your maidservant, λέγωνG3004 saying ότιG3754 that, Σολομών Solomon οG3588 υιός σουG5207 your son, βασιλεύσειG936 he shall reign μετ΄G3326 after εμέG1473 me, καιG2532 and αυτόςG1473 he καθήσεταιG2521 shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 θρόνου μουG2362 my throne.

καιG2532 And νυνG3568 now ιδούG2400 behold, Αδωνίας Adonijah βεβασίλευκενG936 reigns; καιG2532 and συG1473 you, κύριέ μουG2962 O my master, βασιλεύG935 O king, ουκG3756 do not έγνωςG1097 know.

καιG2532 And εθυσίασε he sacrificed μόσχουςG3448 calves καιG2532 and άρναςG704 lambs καιG2532 and πρόβαταG4263 sheep ειςG1519 in πλήθοςG4128 multitude, καιG2532 and εκάλεσεG2564 he called πάνταςG3956 all τουςG3588 the υιούςG5207 sons τουG3588 of the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 and Αβιαθάρ Abiathar τονG3588 the ιερέαG2409 priest, καιG2532 and Ιωάβ Joab τονG3588 the άρχονταG758 ruler τηςG3588 of the δυνάμεωςG1411 force; καιG2532 and τονG3588 Σολομώντα Solomon τονG3588 δούλόν σουG1401 your servant ουκG3756 he did not εκάλεσεG2564 call.

καιG2532 And συG1473 you, κύριέ μουG2962 O my master, βασιλεύG935 O king, οιG3588 the οφθαλμοίG3788 eyes παντόςG3956 of all Ισραήλ Israel προςG4314 are towards σεG1473 you απάγγειλαιG518 to report αυτοίςG1473 to them τιςG5100 who καθήσεταιG2521 shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 the θρόνουG2362 throne τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 of my master τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king μετ΄G3326 after αυτόνG1473 him.

καιG2532 And έσται it will be ενG1722 in τωG3588 the κοιμηθήναιG2837 sleeping τονG3588 κύριόν μουG2962 of my master τονG3588 the βασιλέαG935 king μετάG3326 with τωνG3588 πατέρων αυτούG3962 his fathers, καιG2532 that έσομαι I will be εγώG1473 myself καιG2532 and Σολομών Solomon οG3588 υιός μουG5207 your son αμαρτωλοίG268 as sinners.

καιG2532 And ιδούG2400 behold, έτιG2089 while αυτήςG1473 she λαλούσηςG2980 spoke μετάG3326 with τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 that Ναθάν Nathan οG3588 the προφήτηςG4396 prophet εισήλθεG1525 entered.

καιG2532 And ανήγγειλανG312 it was announced τωG3588 to the βασιλείG935 king, λεγόντεςG3004 saying, ιδούG2400 Behold, Ναθάν Nathan οG3588 the προφήτηςG4396 prophet. καιG2532 And εισήλθεG1525 he entered κατάG2596 in πρόσωπονG4383 front τουG3588 of the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 and προσεκύνησεG4352 did obeisance to τωG3588 the βασιλείG935 king επίG1909 upon πρόσωπον αυτούG4383 his face επίG1909 upon τηνG3588 the γηνG1093 ground.

καιG2532 And είπε ΝαθάνG2036 Nathan said, κύριέ μουG2962 O my master, βασιλεύG935 O king, συ είρηκαςG1473 have you said, Αδωνίας Adonijah βασιλεύσειG936 shall reign μετ΄G3326 after μουG1473 me, καιG2532 and αυτόςG1473 he καθήσεταιG2521 shall sit επίG1909 upon θρόνου μουG2362 my throne?

ότιG3754 For κατέβηG2597 he went down σήμερονG4594 today καιG2532 and εθυσίασε sacrificed μόσχουςG3448 calves καιG2532 and άρναςG704 lambs καιG2532 and πρόβαταG4263 sheep ειςG1519 in πλήθοςG4128 multitude, καιG2532 and εκάλεσεG2564 called πάνταςG3956 all τουςG3588 the υιούςG5207 sons τουG3588 of the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 and τουςG3588 the άρχονταςG758 rulers τηςG3588 of the δυνάμεωςG1411 force, καιG2532 and Αβιαθάρ Abiathar τονG3588 the ιερέαG2409 priest; καιG2532 and ιδούG2400 behold, εισίν they are εσθίοντεςG2068 eating καιG2532 and πίνοντεςG4095 drinking ενώπιονG1799 before αυτούG1473 him, καιG2532 and είπονG2036 they said, ζήτωG2198 Let live οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Αδωνίας Adonijah!

καιG2532 And εμέG1473 me τονG3588 δούλόν σουG1401 your servant, καιG2532 and Σαδώκ Zadok τονG3588 the ιερέαG2409 priest, καιG2532 and Βανέαν Benaiah υιόνG5207 son Ιωδαέ of Jehoiada, καιG2532 and Σολομώντα Solomon τονG3588 δούλόν σουG1401 your servant ουκG3756 he did not εκάλεσενG2564 call.

ειG1487 If διάG1223 through τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 my master τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king γέγονεG1096 has taken place τοG3588 ρήμα τούτοG4487 this thing, καιG2532 then ουκG3756 you did not εγνώρισαςG1107 make known τωG3588 to δούλω σουG1401 your servant τιςG5100 who καθήσεταιG2521 shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 the θρόνουG2362 throne τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 of my master τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king μετ΄G3326 after αυτόνG1473 him.

καιG2532 And απεκρίθηG611 answered οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Δαυίδ David, καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said, καλέσατέG2564 Call μοιG1473 to me τηνG3588 Βηρσαβεαί Bath-sheba! καιG2532 And εισήλθενG1525 she entered ενώπιονG1799 before τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king, καιG2532 and έστηG2476 stood ενώπιονG1799 before αυτούG1473 him.

καιG2532 And ώμοσενG3660 swore by an oath οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king, καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said, ζη κύριοςG2198 As the lord lives, οςG3739 who ελυτρώσατοG3084 ransomed τηνG3588 ψυχήν μουG5590 my soul εκG1537 from out of πάσηςG3956 all θλίψεωςG2347 affliction,

ότιG3754 that καθώςG2531 as ώμοσάG3660 I swore by an oath σοιG1473 to you κατάG2596 according to κυρίουG2962 the lord τουG3588 θεούG2316 God Ισραήλ of Israel, λέγωνG3004 saying ότιG3754 that, Σολομών Solomon οG3588 υιός σουG5207 your son βασιλεύσειG936 shall reign μετ΄G3326 after εμέG1473 me, καιG2532 and αυτόςG1473 he καθήσεταιG2521 shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 θρόνου μουG2362 my throne αντ΄G473 instead of εμούG1473 me; ότιG3754 that ούτωG3779 thus ποιήσωG4160 I will do τηG3588 ημέρα ταύτηG2250 this day.

καιG2532 And έκυψε ΒηρσαβεαίG2955 Bath-sheba bowed επίG1909 upon πρόσωπονG4383 her face επίG1909 upon τηνG3588 the γηνG1093 earth, καιG2532 and προσεκύνησεG4352 did obeisance τωG3588 to the βασιλείG935 king, καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said, ζήτωG2198 Let live οG3588 κύριός μουG2962 my master οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Δαυίδ David ειςG1519 into τονG3588 the αιώναG165 eon!

καιG2532 And είπενG2036 said οG3588 the βασιλεύςG935 king αυτοίςG1473 to them, λάβετεG2983 Take μεθ΄G3326 with υμώνG1473 you τουςG3588 the παίδαςG3816 servants τουG3588 κυρίου υμώνG2962 of your master, καιG2532 and επιβιβάσατεG1913 set Σολομών Solomon τονG3588 υιόν μουG5207 my son επίG1909 upon τηνG3588 ημίονον mule τηνG3588 εμήνG1699 my, καιG2532 and καταγάγετεG2609 lead αυτόνG1473 him ειςG1519 unto τηνG3588 Γιών Gihon!

καιG2532 And χρισάτωG5548 let anoint αυτόνG1473 him εκείG1563 0there Σαδώκ Zadok οG3588 the ιερεύςG2409 priest καιG2532 and Ναθάν Nathan οG3588 the προφήτηςG4396 prophet ειςG1519 for βασιλέαG935 king επίG1909 over Ισραήλ Israel! καιG2532 And σαλπίσατεG4537 trump κερατίνη the horn! καιG2532 And ερείτεG2046 you shall say, ζήτωG2198 Let live οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Σολομών Solomon!

καιG2532 And αναβήσεσθεG305 you shall ascend οπίσωG3694 after αυτούG1473 him. καιG2532 And εισελεύσεταιG1525 he shall enter, καιG2532 and καθήσεταιG2521 he shall sit επίG1909 upon τουG3588 θρόνου μουG2362 my throne, καιG2532 and αυτόςG1473 he βασιλεύσειG936 shall reign αντ΄G473 instead εμούG1473 of me. καιG2532 And αυτώG1473 to him εγώG1473 I ενετειλάμηνG1781 gave charge τουG3588 είναι to be ειςG1519 for ηγούμενονG2233 leader επίG1909 over Ισραήλ Israel καιG2532 and επίG1909 over Ιούδαν Judah.

καιG2532 And απεκρίθηG611 responded Βανέας Benaiah υιόςG5207 son Ιωδαέ of Jehoiada τωG3588 to the βασιλείG935 king, καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said, γένοιτοG1096 May it be ούτωςG3779 so. πιστώσαιG4104 May confirm it κύριοςG2962 the lord οG3588 θεόςG2316 God τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 of my master τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king.

καθώςG2531 As ην κύριοςG2962 the lord was μετάG3326 with τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 my master τουG3588 the βασιλέωςG935 king, ούτωςG3779 so είη may it be μετάG3326 with Σολομών Solomon, καιG2532 and μεγαλύναιG3170 to magnify τονG3588 θρόνον αυτούG2362 his throne υπέρG5228 above τονG3588 the θρόνονG2362 throne τουG3588 κυρίου μουG2962 of my master τουG3588 βασιλέωςG935 king Δαυίδ David.

καιG2532 And κατέβηG2597 went down Σαδώκ Zadok οG3588 the ιερεύςG2409 priest, καιG2532 and Ναθάν Nathan οG3588 the προφήτηςG4396 prophet, καιG2532 and Βανέας Benaiah υιόςG5207 son Ιωδαέ of Jehoiada, καιG2532 and οG3588 the Χερεθί Cherethite, καιG2532 and οG3588 the Φελεθί Pelethite. καιG2532 And επεκάθισανG1940 they sat τονG3588 Σολομώντα Solomon επίG1909 upon τηνG3588 the ημίονον mule τουG3588 βασιλέωςG935 of king Δαυίδ David, καιG2532 and απήγαγονG520 they took αυτόνG1473 him ειςG1519 to τηνG3588 Γιών Gihon.

καιG2532 And έλαβεG2983 took Σαδώκ Zadok οG3588 the ιερεύςG2409 priest τοG3588 the κέραςG2768 horn τουG3588 of the ελαίουG1637 oil εκG1537 from out of τουG3588 the σκηνώματοςG4638 tent, καιG2532 and έχρισεG5548 anointed τονG3588 Σολομώντα Solomon, καιG2532 and εσάλπισεG4537 trumped τηG3588 the κερατίνη horn. καιG2532 And είπεG2036 said παςG3956 all οG3588 the λαόςG2992 people, ζήτωG2198 Let live οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Σολομών Solomon!

καιG2532 And ανέβηG305 ascended παςG3956 all οG3588 the λαόςG2992 people οπίσωG3694 after αυτούG1473 him, καιG2532 and παςG3956 all οG3588 the λαόςG2992 people εχόρευον joined in a dance ενG1722 by χοροίςG5525 companies of dancers, καιG2532 and ευφραινόμενοιG2165 making glad ευφροσύνηG2167 gladness μεγάληG3173 in great. καιG2532 And ερράγηG4486 tore ηG3588 the γηG1093 earth ενG1722 with τηG3588 the φωνήG5456 sound αυτώνG1473 of them.

καιG2532 And ήκουσεν ΑδωνίαςG191 Adonijah heard, καιG2532 and πάντεςG3956 all οιG3588 the κλητοίG2822 invited ones μετ΄G3326 with αυτούG1473 him; καιG2532 and αυτοίG1473 they συνετέλεσανG4931 completed εσθίοντεςG2068 eating. καιG2532 And ήκουσεν ΙωάβG191 Joab heard τηνG3588 the φωνήνG5456 sound τηςG3588 of the κερατίνης horn, καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said, τιςG5100 What ηG3588 is the φωνήG5456 sound τηςG3588 of the πόλεωςG4172 city ηχούσηςG2278 sounding?

έτιG2089 While αυτούG1473 he λαλούντοςG2980 was speaking, καιG2532 that ιδούG2400 behold, Ιωναθάν Jonathan υιόςG5207 son Αβιάθαρ of Abiathar τουG3588 the ιερέωςG2409 priest ήλθεG2064 came in. καιG2532 And είπεν ΑδωνίαςG2036 Adonijah said, είσελθεG1525 Enter, ότιG3754 for ανήρG435 a man δυνάμεωςG1411 of power ει συG1473 you are, καιG2532 and αγαθάG18 for good ευαγγελιείςG2097 you announce good news!

καιG2532 And απεκρίθη ΙωανθάνG611 Jonathan answered καιG2532 and είπεG2036 said τωG3588 to Αδωνία Adonijah, καιG2532 And μάλα by all means οG3588 κυριός ημώνG2962 our master οG3588 βασιλεύςG935 king Δαυίδ David εβασίλευκε τον ΣολομώνταG936 established Solomon to reign.
