or shall he breakH6565 the covenant,H1285 and be delivered?H4422 16 As I live,H2416 saithH5002 the LordH136 GOD,H3069 surely in the placeH4725 where the kingH4428 dwelleth that made him king,H4427 whose oathH423 he despised,H959 and whose covenantH1285 he brake,H6565 even with him in the midstH8432 of BabylonH894 he shall die.H4191 17 Neither shall PharaohH6547 with his mightyH1419 armyH2428 and greatH7227 companyH6951 makeH6213 for him in the war,H4421 by casting upH8210 mounts,H5550 and buildingH1129 forts,H1785 to cut offH3772 manyH7227 persons:H5315 18 Seeing he despisedH959 the oathH423 by breakingH6565 the covenant,H1285 when, lo, he had givenH5414 his hand,H3027 and hath doneH6213 all these things, he shall not escape.H4422 19 Therefore thus saithH559 the LordH136 GOD;H3069 As I live,H2416 surely mine oathH423 that he hath despised,H959 and my covenantH1285 that he hath broken,H6331 even it will I recompenseH5414 upon his own head.H7218 20 And I will spreadH6566 my netH7568 upon him, and he shall be takenH8610 in my snare,H4686 and I will bringH935 him to Babylon,H894 and will pleadH8199 with him there for his trespassH4603 that he hath trespassedH4604 against me. 21 And all his fugitivesH4015 with all his bandsH102 shall fallH5307 by the sword,H2719 and they that remainH7604 shall be scatteredH6566 toward all winds:H7307 and ye shall knowH3045 that I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696 it. 22 Thus saithH559 the LordH136 GOD;H3069 I will also takeH3947 of the highest branchH6788 of the highH7311 cedar,H730 and will setH5414 it; I will crop offH6998 from the topH7218 of his young twigsH3127 a tender one,H7390 and will plantH8362 it upon an highH1364 mountainH2022 and eminent:H8524 23 In the mountainH2022 of the heightH4791 of IsraelH3478 will I plantH8362 it: and it shall bring forthH5375 boughs,H6057 and bearH6213 fruit,H6529 and be a goodlyH117 cedar:H730 and under it shall dwellH7931 all fowlH6833 of every wing;H3671 in the shadowH6738 of the branchesH1808 thereof shall they dwell.H7931 24 And all the treesH6086 of the fieldH7704 shall knowH3045 that I the LORDH3068 have brought downH8213 the highH1364 tree,H6086 have exaltedH1361 the lowH8217 tree,H6086 have driedH3001 up the greenH3892 tree,H6086 and have made the dryH3002 treeH6086 to flourish:H6524 I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696 and have doneH6213 it.
