Notwithstanding,H389 if he continueH5975 a dayH3117 or two,H8147 he shall not be punished:H5358 for he is his money.H3701

And if any mischief follow,H611 then thou shalt giveH5414 lifeH5315 for life,H5315

BurningH3555 for burning,H3555 woundH6482 for wound,H6482 stripeH2250 for stripe.H2250

And if a manH376 smiteH5221 the eyeH5869 of his servant,H5650 or the eyeH5869 of his maid,H519 that it perish;H7843 he shall let him goH7971 freeH2670 forH8478 his eye'sH5869 sake.

And if he smiteH5307 out his manservant'sH5650 tooth,H8127 or his maidservant'sH519 tooth;H8127 he shall let him goH7971 freeH2670 for his tooth'sH8127 sake.
21:28
If an oxH7794 goreH5055 a manH376 or a woman,H802 that they die:H4191 then the oxH7794 shall be surelyH5619 stoned,H5619 and his fleshH1320 shall not be eaten;H398 but the ownerH1167 of the oxH7794 shall be quit.H5355
21:29
But if the oxH7794 were wont to push with his hornH5056 in time pastH8032, H8543, and it hath been testifiedH5749 to his owner,H1167 and he hath not keptH8104 him in, but that he hath killedH4191 a manH376 or a woman;H802 the oxH7794 shall be stoned,H5619 and his ownerH1167 also shall be put to death.H4191

If there be laidH7896 on him a sum of money,H3724 then he shall giveH5414 for the ransomH6306 of his lifeH5315 whatsoever is laidH7896 upon him.

Whether he have goredH5055 a son,H1121 orH176 have goredH5055 a daughter,H1323 according to this judgmentH4941 shall it be doneH6213 unto him.

If the oxH7794 shall pushH5055 a manservantH5650 or a maidservant;H519 he shall giveH5414 unto their masterH113 thirtyH7970 shekelsH8255 of silver,H3701 and the oxH7794 shall be stoned.H5619

And if a manH376 shall openH6605 a pit,H953 or if a manH376 shall digH3738 a pit,H953 and not coverH3680 it, and an oxH7794 or an assH2543 fallH5307 therein;

The ownerH1167 of the pitH953 shall make it good,H7999 and giveH7725 moneyH3701 unto the ownerH1167 of them; and the deadH4191 beast shall be his.

And if one man'sH376 oxH7794 hurtH5062 another's,H7453 that he die;H4191 then they shall sellH4376 the liveH2416 ox,H7794 and divideH2673 the moneyH3701 of it; and the deadH4191 ox also they shall divide.H2673
