Then shall they cryH2199 unto the LORD,H3068 but he will not hearH6030 them: he will even hideH5641 his faceH6440 from them at that time,H6256 as they have behaved themselves illH7489 in their doings.H4611

Thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 concerning the prophetsH5030 that make my peopleH5971 err,H8582 that biteH5391 with their teeth,H8127 and cry,H7121 Peace;H7965 and he that puttethH5414 not into their mouths,H6310 they even prepareH6942 warH4421 against him.

Therefore nightH3915 shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision;H2377 and it shall be darkH2821, H2821 unto you, that ye shall not divine;H7080 and the sunH8121 shall go downH935 over the prophets,H5030 and the dayH3117 shall be darkH6937 over them.
3:7
Then shall the seersH2374 be ashamed,H954 and the divinersH7080 confounded:H2659 yea, they shall all coverH5844 their lips;H8222 for there is no answerH4617 of God.H430

But trulyH199 I am fullH4390 of powerH3581 by the spiritH7307 of the LORD,H3068 and of judgment,H4941 and of might,H1369 to declareH5046 unto JacobH3290 his transgression,H6588 and to IsraelH3478 his sin.H2403

HearH8085 this, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of the houseH1004 of Jacob,H3290 and princesH7101 of the houseH1004 of Israel,H3478 that abhorH8581 judgment,H4941 and pervertH6140 all equity.H3477

They build upH1129 ZionH6726 with blood,H1818 and JerusalemH3389 with iniquity.H5766

The headsH7218 thereof judgeH8199 for reward,H7810 and the priestsH3548 thereof teachH3384 for hire,H4242 and the prophetsH5030 thereof divineH7080 for money:H3701 yet will they leanH8172 upon the LORD,H3068 and say,H559 Is not the LORDH3068 amongH7130 us? none evilH7451 can comeH935 upon us.

Therefore shall ZionH6726 for your sakeH1558 be plowedH2790 as a field,H7704 and JerusalemH3389 shall become heaps,H5856 and the mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 as the high placesH1116 of the forest.H3293
