Tytuł oryginalnyIsaiah
WoeH1945 unto them that decreeH2710 unrighteousH205 decrees,H2711 and that writeH3789 grievousnessH5999 which they have prescribed;H3789
To turn asideH5186 the needyH1800 from judgment,H1779 and to take awayH1497 the rightH4941 from the poorH6041 of my people,H5971 that widowsH490 may be their prey,H7998 and that they may robH962 the fatherless!H3490
And what will ye doH6213 in the dayH3117 of visitation,H6486 and in the desolationH7722 which shall comeH935 from far?H4801 to whom will ye fleeH5127 for help?H5833 and where will ye leaveH5800 your glory?H3519
Without me they shallH1115 bow downH3766 under the prisoners,H616 and they shall fallH5307 under the slain.H2026 For all this his angerH639 is not turned away,H7725 but his handH3027 is stretched out still.H5186
OH1945 Assyrian,H804 the rodH7626 of mine anger,H639 and the staffH4294 in their handH3027 is mine indignation.H2195
I will sendH7971 him against an hypocriticalH2611 nation,H1471 and against the peopleH5971 of my wrathH5678 will I give him a charge,H6680 to takeH7997 the spoil,H7998 and to takeH962 the prey,H957 and to tread them downH7760, H4823 like the mireH2563 of the streets.H2351
Howbeit he meanethH1819 not so, neither doth his heartH3824 thinkH2803 so; but it is in his heartH3824 to destroyH8045 and cut offH3772 nationsH1471 not a few.H4592
Is not CalnoH3641 as Carchemish?H3751 is not HamathH2574 as Arpad?H774 is not SamariaH8111 as Damascus?H1834
As my handH3027 hath foundH4672 the kingdomsH4467 of the idols,H457 and whose graven imagesH6456 did excel them of JerusalemH3389 and of Samaria;H8111
Shall I not, as I have doneH6213 unto SamariaH8111 and her idols,H457 so doH6213 to JerusalemH3389 and her idols?H6091
Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the LordH136 hath performedH1214 his whole workH4639 upon mountH2022 ZionH6726 and on Jerusalem,H3389 I will punishH6485 the fruitH6529 of the stoutH1433 heartH3824 of the kingH4428 of Assyria,H804 and the gloryH8597 of his highH7312 looks.H5869
For he saith,H559 By the strengthH3581 of my handH3027 I have doneH6213 it, and by my wisdom;H2451 for I am prudent:H995 and I have removedH5493 the boundsH1367 of the people,H5971 and have robbedH8154 their treasuresH6259, H6264, and I have put downH3381 the inhabitantsH3427 like a valiantH3524 man:H47
And my handH3027 hath foundH4672 as a nestH7064 the richesH2428 of the people:H5971 and as one gatherethH622 eggsH1000 that are left,H5800 have I gatheredH622 all the earth;H776 and there was none that movedH5074 the wing,H3671 or openedH6475 the mouth,H6310 or peeped.H6850
Shall the axeH1631 boastH6286 itself against him that hewethH2672 therewith? or shall the sawH4883 magnifyH1431 itself against him that shakethH5130 it? as if the rodH7626 should shakeH5130 itself against them that lift it up,H7311 or as if the staffH4294 should lift upH7311 itself, as if it were no wood.H6086
Therefore shall the Lord,H113 the LordH136, H3068 of hosts,H6635 sendH7971 among his fat onesH4924 leanness;H7332 and under his gloryH3519 he shall kindleH3344 a burningH3350 like the burning of a fire.H784
And the lightH216 of IsraelH3478 shall be for a fire,H784 and his Holy OneH6918 for a flame:H3852 and it shall burnH1197 and devourH398 his thornsH7898 and his briersH8068 in oneH259 day;H3117
And shall consumeH3615 the gloryH3519 of his forest,H3293 and of his fruitful field,H3759 both soulH5315 and body:H1320 and they shall be as when a standardbearerH5263 fainteth.H4549
And the restH7605 of the treesH6086 of his forestH3293 shall be few,H4557 that a childH5288 may writeH3789 them.
And it shall come to pass in that day,H3117 that the remnantH7605 of Israel,H3478 and such as are escapedH6413 of the houseH1004 of Jacob,H3290 shall no more againH3254 stayH8172 upon him that smoteH5221 them; but shall stayH8172 upon the LORD,H3068 the Holy OneH6918 of Israel,H3478 in truth.H571
The remnantH7605 shall return,H7725 even the remnantH7605 of Jacob,H3290 unto the mightyH1368 God.H410
For though thy peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 be as the sandH2344 of the sea,H3220 yet a remnantH7605 of them shall return:H7725 the consumptionH3631 decreedH2782 shall overflowH7857 with righteousness.H6666
For the LordH136 GODH3069 of hostsH6635 shall makeH6213 a consumption,H3617 even determined,H2782 in the midstH7130 of all the land.H776
Therefore thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069 of hosts,H6635 O my peopleH5971 that dwellestH3427 in Zion,H6726 be not afraidH3372 of the Assyrian:H804 he shall smiteH5221 thee with a rod,H7626 and shall lift upH5375 his staffH4294 against thee, after the mannerH1870 of Egypt.H4714
For yet a veryH4213 little while,H4592 and the indignationH2195 shall cease,H3615 and mine angerH639 in their destruction.H8399
And the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 shall stir upH5782 a scourgeH7752 for him according to the slaughterH4347 of MidianH4080 at the rockH6697 of Oreb:H6159 and as his rodH4294 was upon the sea,H3220 so shall he lift it upH5375 after the mannerH1870 of Egypt.H4714
And it shall come to pass in that day,H3117 that his burdenH5448 shall be taken awayH5493 from off thy shoulder,H7926 and his yokeH5923 from off thy neck,H6677 and the yokeH5923 shall be destroyedH2254 becauseH6440 of the anointing.H8081
He is comeH935 to Aiath,H5857 he is passedH5674 to Migron;H4051 at MichmashH4363 he hath laid upH6485 his carriages:H3627
They are gone overH5674 the passage:H4569 they have taken up their lodgingH4411 at Geba;H1387 RamahH7414 is afraid;H2729 GibeahH1390 of SaulH7586 is fled.H5127
Lift upH6670 thy voice,H6963 O daughterH1323 ofH1530 Gallim:H1554 cause it to be heardH7181 unto Laish,H3919 O poorH6041 Anathoth.H6068
MadmenahH4088 is removed;H5074 the inhabitantsH3427 of GebimH1374 gather themselves to flee.H5756
As yet shall he remainH5975 at NobH5011 that day:H3117 he shall shakeH5130 his handH3027 against the mountH2022 of the daughterH1323, H1004 of Zion,H6726 the hillH1389 of Jerusalem.H3389
Behold, the Lord,H113 the LORDH3068 of hosts,H6635 shall lopH5586 the boughH6288 with terror:H4637 and the high onesH7311 of statureH6967 shall be hewn down,H1438 and the haughtyH1364 shall be humbled.H8213
And he shall cut downH5362 the thicketsH5442 of the forestH3293 with iron,H1270 and LebanonH3844 shall fallH5307 by a mighty one.H117
