And the damsel'sH5291 fatherH1 shall sayH559 unto the elders,H2205 I gaveH5414 my daughterH1323 unto this manH376 to wife,H802 and he hatethH8130 her;

And the eldersH2205 of that cityH5892 shall takeH3947 that manH376 and chastiseH3256 him;

But if this thingH1697 be true,H571 and the tokens of virginityH1331 be not foundH4672 for the damsel:H5291

Then they shall bring outH3318 the damselH5291 to the doorH6607 of her father'sH1 house,H1004 and the menH582 of her cityH5892 shall stoneH5619 her with stonesH68 that she die:H4191 because she hath wroughtH6213 follyH5039 in Israel,H3478 to play the whoreH2181 in her father'sH1 house:H1004 so shalt thou putH1197 evilH7451 awayH1197 from amongH7130 you.

If a manH376 be foundH4672 lyingH7901 with a womanH802 marriedH1166 to an husband,H1167 then they shall both of themH8147 die,H4191 both the manH376 that layH7901 with the woman,H802 and the woman:H802 so shalt thou put awayH1197 evilH7451 from Israel.H3478

If a damselH5291 that is a virginH1330 be betrothedH781 unto an husband,H376 and a manH376 findH4672 her in the city,H5892 and lieH7901 with her;

Then ye shall bringH3318 them bothH8147 out unto the gateH8179 of that city,H5892 and ye shall stoneH5619 them with stonesH68 that they die;H4191 the damsel,H5291 becauseH1697 sheH834 criedH6817 not, being in the city;H5892 and the man,H376 becauseH1697 heH834 hath humbledH6031 his neighbour'sH7453 wife:H802 so thou shalt put awayH1197 evilH7451 from amongH7130 you.

But if a manH376 findH4672 a betrothedH781 damselH5291 in the field,H7704 and the manH376 forceH2388 her, and lieH7901 with her: then the manH376 only that layH7901 with her shall die:H4191

But unto the damselH5291 thou shalt doH6213 nothing;H1697 there is in the damselH5291 no sinH2399 worthy of death:H4194 for as when a manH376 risethH6965 against his neighbour,H7453 and slayethH7523, H5315 him, even so is this matter:H1697

For he foundH4672 her in the field,H7704 and the betrothedH781 damselH5291 cried,H6817 and there was none to saveH3467 her.

If a manH376 findH4672 a damselH5291 that is a virgin,H1330 which is not betrothed,H781 and lay holdH8610 on her, and lieH7901 with her, and they be found;H4672

Then the manH376 that layH7901 with her shall giveH5414 unto the damsel'sH5291 fatherH1 fiftyH2572 shekels of silver,H3701 and she shall be his wife;H802 because he hath humbledH6031 her, he mayH3201 not put her awayH7971 all his days.H3117
