This is the thingH1697 that ye shall do;H6213 A third partH7992 of you enteringH935 on the sabbath,H7676 of the priestsH3548 and of the Levites,H3881 shall be portersH7778 of the doors;H5592

And a third partH7992 shall be at the king'sH4428 house;H1004 and a third partH7992 at the gateH8179 of the foundation:H3247 and all the peopleH5971 shall be in the courtsH2691 of the houseH1004 of the LORD.H3068

But let none comeH935 into the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 save the priests,H3548 and they that ministerH8334 of the Levites;H3881 they shall go in,H935 for they are holy:H6944 but all the peopleH5971 shall keepH8104 the watchH4931 of the LORD.H3068

And the LevitesH3881 shall compassH5362 the kingH4428 round about,H5439 every manH376 with his weaponsH3627 in his hand;H3027 and whosoever else comethH935 into the house,H1004 he shall be put to death:H4191 but be ye with the kingH4428 when he cometh in,H935 and when he goeth out.H3318

So the LevitesH3881 and all JudahH3063 didH6213 according to all things that JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548 had commanded,H6680 and tookH3947 every manH376 his menH582 that were to come inH935 on the sabbath,H7676 with them that were to goH3318 out on the sabbath:H7676 for JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548 dismissedH6358 not the courses.H4256

Moreover JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548 deliveredH5414 to the captainsH8269 of hundredsH3967 spears,H2595 and bucklers,H4043 and shields,H7982 that had been kingH4428 David's,H1732 which were in the houseH1004 of God.H430

And he setH5975 all the people,H5971 every manH376 having his weaponH7973 in his hand,H3027 from the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the templeH1004 to the leftH8042 sideH3802 of the temple,H1004 along by the altarH4196 and the temple,H1004 by the kingH4428 round about.H5439

Then they brought outH3318 the king'sH4428 son,H1121 and putH5414 upon him the crown,H5145 and gave him the testimony,H5715 and made him king.H4427 And JehoiadaH3077 and his sonsH1121 anointedH4886 him, and said,H559 God saveH2421 the king.H4428

Now when AthaliahH6271 heardH8085 the noiseH6963 of the peopleH5971 runningH7323 and praisingH1984 the king,H4428 she cameH935 to the peopleH5971 into the houseH1004 of the LORD:H3068

And she looked,H7200 and, behold, the kingH4428 stoodH5975 at his pillarH5982 at the entering in,H3996 and the princesH8269 and the trumpetsH2689 by the king:H4428 and all the peopleH5971 of the landH776 rejoiced,H8056 and soundedH8628 with trumpets,H2689 also the singersH7891 with instrumentsH3627 of musick,H7892 and such as taughtH3045 to sing praise.H1984 Then AthaliahH6271 rentH7167 her clothes,H899 and said,H559 Treason,H7195 Treason.H7195

Then JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548 brought outH3318 the captainsH8269 of hundredsH3967 that were set overH6485 the host,H2428 and saidH559 unto them, Have her forthH3318 of the rangesH7713, H1004: and whoso followethH935, H310 her, let him be slainH4191 with the sword.H2719 For the priestH3548 said,H559 SlayH4191 her not in the houseH1004 of the LORD.H306

So they laidH7760 handsH3027 on her; and when she was comeH935 to the enteringH3996 of the horseH5483 gateH8179 by the king'sH4428 house,H1004 they slewH4191 her there.

And JehoiadaH3077 madeH3772 a covenantH1285 between him, and between all the people,H5971 and between the king,H4428 that they should be the LORD'SH3068 people.H5971

Then all the peopleH5971 wentH935 to the houseH1004 of Baal,H1168 and brake it down,H5422 and brakeH7665 his altarsH4196 and his imagesH6754 in pieces,H7665 and slewH2026 MattanH4977 the priestH3548 of BaalH1168 beforeH6440 the altars.H4196

Also JehoiadaH3077 appointedH7760 the officesH6486 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 by the handH3027 of the priestsH3548 the Levites,H3881 whom DavidH1732 had distributedH2505 in the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 to offerH5927 the burnt offeringsH5930 of the LORD,H3068 as it is writtenH3789 in the lawH8451 of Moses,H4872 with rejoicingH8057 and with singing,H7892 as it was ordained byH3027 David.H1732

And he setH5975 the portersH7778 at the gatesH8179 of the houseH1004 of the LORD,H3068 that none which was uncleanH2931 in any thingH1697 should enter in

H935 And he tookH3947 the captainsH8269 of hundreds,H3967 and the nobles,H117 and the governorsH4910 of the people,H5971 and all the peopleH5971 of the land,H776 and brought downH3381 the kingH4428 from the houseH1004 of the LORD:H3068 and they cameH935 throughH8432 the highH5945 gateH8179 into the king'sH4428 house,H1004 and setH3427 the kingH4428 upon the throneH3678 of the kingdom.H4467

And all the peopleH5971 of the landH776 rejoiced:H8055 and the cityH5892 was quiet,H8252 after that they had slainH4191 AthaliahH6271 with the sword.H271
